She has written and produced three successful shows for the Edinburgh Festival, the Brighton Festival, and the Women in Comedy Festival. As a member of the UK’s longest standing all-female improvisation troupe, “The Short and Girlie Show”, Lara participated in the sold-out Spreading the Love tour. As curator and MC of her own Token Bloke comedy night, she is heralded as “one of the best comperes on the circuit”.

Lara is the co-founder of LaughQuake, a global incentive to encourage the production of positive energy through laughter. Combining improvisation exercises and theatre techniques, Lara's mentors adults and children to build confidence, improve personal impact and develop leadership skills through Humourology. She has delivered such courses to The Kings Fund, The Leadership Academy and The British Psychological Society. Throughout the pandemic, Lara has continued to design, develop, and deliver programmes online to empower professionals in their virtual communication. In her free time, she loves nothing more than to head to the beach in her 1976 Volkswagen camper van.
