Michelle is a Senior Manager in the Risk Analytics AI / Data Science team at Deloitte UK, specialising in the governance of AI risks in industry and fairness in machine learning. She leads the UK offerings to advise clients on how to manage and mitigate new risks and ethical considerations introduced by AI-driven products. Michelle has also led and implemented a number of technical projects to build proprietary AI solutions for risk management. Michelle is currently completing her PhD at Cambridge with a focus on fairness trade-offs in algorithmic pricing, credit risk evaluation, and hiring.
