Help for Heroes’ (H4H) mission is to deliver direct and practical support to wounded servicemen and women.

It funds a number of Personnel Recovery Centres (PRC) which offer ‘fit for purpose’ facilities to deliver physical, practical and emotional support that wounded servicemen and women and their families need both in the aftermath of an injury, and for the rest of their lives.

Tedworth House is H4H’s first and flagship PRC – converted in less than four months, on time and to budget with direct support from Deloitte. In total, through our strategic level support, expertise in real estate, project management and IT consultancy support we have provided more than 2,600 pro-bono project hours and raised a fantastic £500k, involving more than 5,000 Deloitte volunteers.

The most tangible success of Tedworth House is the legacy it will leave. The House has supported over 200 wounded soldiers and receives more than 500 visitors per month, and will remain in operation for at least the next 99 years.

“What has really made a difference is the range of support from different parts of the firm; from advice on strategy and management structure, to help improving financial controls, from running demanding and complex projects, to tax and property advice. We now have a 99-year lease on the property and a blueprint for the development of further Personnel Recovery Centres, so the legacy of Deloitte’s support will last almost a century.”
