This year we have made significant steps to expand and deepen this aspect of our firm. Our Work Agility programme is a blend of formal, flexible working arrangements and informal day-to-day practices. These practices help and encourage our people to work in a more agile way, equipping and trusting them to deliver work of a consistently high quality when they are not physically present in the office. Work Agility will be an excellent addition to supporting our Women-in-Leadership initiative and our targets of 25 percent female partners by 2020 and 30 percent by 2030.

As part of our dedication to diversity in the workplace, we are supporting the activities of the Women’s Business Council, a group sponsored by the Government Equalities Office. Denis Woulfe, a partner and vice chairman of Deloitte UK, has been appointed as a member of the Women’s Business Council over the next year to help it achieve its goal of maximising women’s contribution to economic growth.
