Mind Mapping – Data analysis innovation

Since 2013, we have been working with Mind in its ambition to make sure people with mental health problems can get the support they need. In addition to our fundraising efforts, we bring our strategic and business expertise to help ensure Mind can make an impact in the long term.

Over the past year Deloitte Digital developed a tool to help Mind in its five-year strategic planning process. Mind Mapping is a visual and interactive tool that allows the charity to make better use of the data it collects and find new ways to expand its reach. This is the first time Mind has had access to this breadth and depth of data in one single and accessible source. The tool gives Mind a much greater understanding of its market at both a local and national level. It has helped the charity make decisions across its retail estate, better monitor the network of local Minds, and improve its ability to distribute campaign messages and assess the needs of local Mind services. Crucially, the tool is helping Mind make decisions about how best to transform the experiences of people with mental health problems.
