Deloitte’s public interest role

Our impact and public interest role

Deloitte’s impact and responsibility extend across a wide range of areas, in terms of the services we provide, our role in the capital markets and our wider impact on society. Find out more about how we make an impact that matters through providing trust, supporting inclusive growth and building skills in our annual review.

Our annual Audit Transparency Report details our commitment to and progress on audit quality. It also sets out how the firm is managed and supervised and, along with our leadership and governance webpages, explains the role and responsibilities of our Independent Non-Executives who help ensure that public interest considerations are central to Deloitte’s decision-making.

Sharing our perspectives – and understanding others’

We engage with regulators, investors and other stakeholders to understand their concerns and share our perspectives, informed through our engagement with organisations of all sizes and types and the insights we produce. We engage on regulatory issues and other matters affecting our firm, profession and wider business and society through responses to consultations, involvement with committees, forums and other bodies at regional, national and international levels.

We report on our engagement with stakeholders in our annual Audit Transparency Report and welcome contact about any matters relating to the Audit Firm Governance Code or any other aspects of our public interest role and engagement via the online contact us form or by email via atr@deloitte.co.uk. Our Independent Non-Executives can also be reached directly via independentnon-execs@deloitte.co.uk.
