The 2017 Shared Services, GBS & BPO Conference will take place in the unique city of Vienna – Its artistic and intellectual legacy was shaped by residents including Mozart, Beethoven and Sigmund Freud. The city is also know for its Imperial Palaces and stunning location along the Danube river.

Travel to Vienna

Vienna International Airport is the main international airport of Vienna and is the closest airport to this year’s conference, around a 25 minute taxi ride from the conference venue. Details of airlines that service the airport and further information on the airport itself can be found here.

Travel to the conference venue

The venue of the conference – Austria Center Vienna (ACV) - is located near the Danube river by the Vienna International Center and UN headquarters approx. 20km) Vienna International Airport. The venue can be reached by taxi, bus or subway and further details can be found here.

Whether you wish to take a walk through the Stadtdpark to visit the gilt statue of Johann Strauss or visit one of the exemplary Art museums; The Leopold Museum, Kunsthalle Wien or the Museum of Modern Art (MUMOK) we can guarantee that there will be something for everyone in Vienna.

The Figarohaus is a must visit for those who enjoy Mozart and whilst you're in Vienna we recommend sampling some wonderful Viennese wine or take the chance to visit one of the many Würstelstands (sausage stands) located throughout the city for some traditional Viennese cuisine.
