Rolls-Royce receives tune-up

In 2010, Rolls-Royce identified that an aging, non-standard IT infrastructure was limiting its ability to support its growth objectives and also presented some potential operational risks. In response, Rolls-Royce embarked on a global programme to transform its IT infrastructure.

With deep expertise in structuring and running IT engagements, Deloitte was engaged to advise Rolls-Royce on successfully delivering its transformation. Our programme management knowledge and comprehensive range of IT skills facilitated the cost-effective design, procurement and smooth implementation of a modern and resilient IT infrastructure. We also provided advisory services to Rolls-Royce, supporting it in building a multi-supplier IT sourcing model to achieve value for money and expertise across a range of procurement categories.

“Someone somewhere has got your DNA and values very right… people in Deloitte certainly think about the client first, and then they think about each other – and it’s the collectiveness of thinking about each other that makes the firm great.”

Simon Ricketts, CIO, Rolls-Royce
