Sophy Ridge is a presenter, fronting her flagship show Sophy Ridge On Sunday. Her first interview on the show was with Prime Minister Theresa May.

Before presenting, she was senior political correspondent, where she broke exclusive stores including the news that Jeremy Corbyn had won the Labour leadership contest in 2015, and that Ed Miliband would resign as leader of the party.

Before joining Sky News in 2011, she worked for the News of the World focusing on political, business and consumer stories.

Sophy has won numerous journalism awards including broadcaster of the year at the Words by Women Awards in 2016 and the MHP 30 Under 30 gold award. She was shortlisted for young journalist of the year in the Royal Television Society Awards in 2013.

In 2017 Sophy published The Women Who Shaped Politics, a book on the history of women in Westminster.
