The eagerly anticipated TMT Predictions Schools Challenge is back! The schools challenge was created with the aim to provide future industry leaders (students) an opportunity to develop core soft skills, gain an insight into Deloitte and connect with major clients who in turn gain a new perspective and access to a diverse pool of talent.

This year will involve the highest number of competing teams since the challenge began! 11 Deloitte Access Schools, will be going head to head against each other with the help of 30+ Deloitte coaches.

The theme for this year is the Smartphone Multiplier Market which was selected based on the fascinating 2020 Prediction. Each team has been tasked with creating an innovative service, disruptive content or new hardware product which can be rolled out to the market to enhance their smartphone experiences.

More on the 2020 TMT Predictions Schools challenge

The schools participating in the challenge are based all over the UK and are part of the Deloitte Access programme, in collaboration with Teach First.

In February 2020, the 11 school teams will present their idea in the Semi-Finals to a panel of judges. The 11 teams will then be whittled down to the best three who are then invited to the Grand Final on 26th March 2020 in our 2 New Street Square Auditorium, London.

This packed afternoon includes a market place where different companies present their latest technology and bring ideas to life. We then hear from different speakers on topics including their career experiences, or on different technology. Then the moment of truth comes, the final three teams present their ideas in front of a panel of distinguished guest judges and a large audience, and the overall winner will be chosen! This event is open to anyone who is interested, so please let the team know if you’d like to attend.
