Matthew Elliott is a corporate partner in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Matt co-heads Kirkland’s European corporate practice and is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. Matt focuses on private equity-backed real estate, advising a full range of stakeholders across public and private corporate transactions, M&A, joint ventures and securities offerings. Matt has advised on numerous transactions within the hospitality sector and regularly acts for Ares, Brookfield, GIC, Starwood and TPG.

Matt joined Kirkland in 2015 and prior to that was a partner in the corporate division of Linklaters LLP. He attended St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University and The University of Law, Guildford.
