Deloitte Military Transition and Talent Programme (DMTTP)

When Charlotte Davey was considering a switch from a career in the Army Intelligence Corps to the commercial sector, Deloitte’s ex-military community was there to help. Several members of the group were able to encourage her with their own transition stories and take a look at her transferrable skills. Charlotte progressed through what she describes as a “surprisingly friendly interview and assessment centre” to join Deloitte’s Audit Advisory team. We gave her a tailored induction and transition process that helps bring ex-military personnel up to speed with the commercial environment as quickly as possible. As well as the normal induction training, this included some additional internal and external training courses to address any commercial skills gap, extra buddy sessions from a member of the ex-military community, as well as work shadowing.
