From sushi to satay: Deloitte brings JUST EAT listing to London

Deloitte played an important role as reporting accountants in the successful IPO of award-winning, market-leading online takeaway ordering service JUST EAT in a resurgent market for new listings in the UK.

There have been several technology flotations in London since the start of 2014 and Deloitte’s own pipeline anticipates that more UK technology companies will choose to list in London rather than overseas in the coming years as the government commits to making the UK the best place in the world to start a business.

JUST EAT became the first company to list on the new High Growth Segment of the LSE, amid a flurry of new technology deals coming to the London market. JUST EAT successfully moved to a premium listing in May.

“We were really impressed by Deloitte’s capacity to meet our evolving needs across our business and we had no hesitation in selecting them as reporting accountants to assist us with our IPO. Deloitte’s support enabled us to list at the right time for our business and the IPO is an important stepping stone for our business as we continue to grow.”

Frank McGlade, Head of Corporate Development at JUST EAT
