Maureen joined SGN in September 2024 to set up and establish a Shared Services Centre for transactional HR & Finance activities. Despite all the odds and obstacles, Maureen led a succesful transition within 18 weeks for a successful launch on 1st April. Whilst a roller coaster, it was an exciting time bringing SGN in line with many other large organisations.

Maureen held the position as Director or Business Service for Transport for London (TfL) for 5 years. Here, she set up a similar larger scale shared services which helped her to prioritise and realise that perfection cannot be achieved and the only way to deliver on time was to agree what the minimum viable product was. This allowed TfL to establish a functioning shared service on day one which will continue to evolve and improve. Her team continues to grow today.
