How can I reduce my environmental footprint during the Deloitte Shared Services Conference?

We encourage all attendees to join us in our commitment to sustainability. Here are some ways you can help to reduce your environmental footprint during the conference:

Travel:

  • Choose sustainable transport: Opt for public transport, cycling, or walking whenever feasible.
  • Car travel: If driving, consider an electric vehicle or carpooling with fellow attendees.
  • Air travel: Flying? Choosing a lower cabin class can help reduce your carbon footprint.

Accommodation:

  • Be mindful at your hotel: Reuse towels, skip daily linen changes, avoid single-use plastics, and conserve energy and water.

At the Conference:

  • Bring your own: Use a reusable water bottle (we'll have refill stations!), and bring your notebook and pen.
  • Recycle and reduce: Use the recycling bins and minimise single-use plastics.

Food & Drinks:

  • Reduce food waste: Take only what you can eat. Use the food waste bins provided.

By making these small changes, we can collectively make a big difference! Thank you for your cooperation in creating a more sustainable event.
