Booking a room
We have secured a variety of hotels, from a 3-minute walk from RAI Amsterdam to up to 17 minute drive away. The Deloitte discounted rate for all hotels ranges from €182 - €357 per night. The room amount will automatically be charged to your card upon arrival. The nightly rate includes breakfast, 9% VAT and 12.5% city tax.

This special rate is available until end of day on Tuesday 13 August, after which all held rooms will be released and we can no longer guarantee availability or the discounted rate. Free cancellation is permitted up to 48 hours before your arrival day and can be done by contacting hotelservices@rai.nl or +31 20 549 19 27. After the cancellation deadline, all bookings are non-refundable. No shows will also be charged in full.

Getting around Amsterdam

From Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to RAI Amsterdam

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is the main airport of the Netherlands and one of the largest airports in Europe. You can expect the journey from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to RAI Amsterdam to take around 13 minutes by train and 20 minutes by car. Follow the signs for RAI Amsterdam when you leave the station.



Master the tram, metro and bus

From Amsterdam Central Station you can take metro 52, the new underground connection linking the district of Amsterdam North to the Amsterdam Zuid railway station. This line provides the fastest direct connection and brings you from Amsterdam Central Station to Amsterdam RAI (via the Europaplein station) within 6 minutes. You can also take tram 4 and get off at Europaplein.

From Amstel Station, you can reach us with metro 51 (get off at Amsterdam RAI station) or bus line 62 (get off at Europaplein). Metro 50, which runs between Amsterdam Sloterdijk en Gein, also stops at Amsterdam RAI station.


Travel by Taxi

Taxis are available at the taxi rank outside the airport and the 15-25 minutes journey to RAI Amsterdam will cost around 36-53 EUR.

Most taxi companies in Amsterdam accept both cash and card payment but, before beginning your journey, we recommend specifying to the driver your intended method of payment.

To guarantee the quality of their taxi service and for logistical reasons, RAI Amsterdam only allow TCA taxis on their premises to pick up visitors. At many events there will be a special TCA taxi stop on the RAI Amsterdam site. If this is not the case, their reception staff will be happy to help ordering a TCA taxi.

If you would like to use another taxi, then the pickup point will be outside RAI Amsterdam area.
