Thormod Fjell has more than 30 years experience in various leadership roles in DNV. Since 2015 he has held the position as Global Shared Services (GSS) Officer in DNV, currently with 1450 employees delivering services from two global centres (India and Poland) and nine regions and a total budget of NOK 4 billion. Thormod has led GSS through the journey of being primarily a transactional service provider to an integrated shared services organisation covering HR, Finance, Real Estate, Procurement and IT. Thormod is an experienced, global leader having had positions such as Regional Finance Manager in Korea, Sweden and Middle East, Global Finance Director for the certification business,  Head of Corporate Audits and several years as Corporate Controller for DNV. Throughout his career, Thormod has also been involved in several M&A projects, from small bolt-on projects to large, global projects. Thormod is also active in shared services networks by being a member of the GBS Council, Europe and the GBS Roundtable, Norway.
