Gábor Illés is Managing Director of Syngenta’s Budapest Business Services Centre, Head of Finance Operations Europe, and Global Invoice-to-Pay Process Owner.

With more than 25 years of experience in finance, shared services and business transformation, he leads large-scale global operations across Europe, India and Latin America. Gábor’s regional Finance Operations organisation and Global Invoice-to-Pay team played a key role in Syngenta’s finance transformation journey, including the successful deployment of S/4HANA across more than 80 European legal entities. His expertise spans global process ownership, transformation, operating model design and organisational change. He is passionate about driving operational excellence, digital transformation and sustainable business value through great people engagement.
